Maturity maps

Open a stage's maturity map, place its practices, and show where each one is heading, what holds it back and what you are trying.

  1. Open a stage's maturity map

Open the maturity map for one stage, read what it shows, and close it to go back to the map where you were.

  2. Maturity levels, and how key a practice is

What Novel, Emerging, Good and Best mean, with signs to look for, and what the up and down position on a maturity map means.

  3. Place a practice on the maturity map

Turn on editing, drag practices from "Not on the map yet" onto the graph, and move them as the team's view changes.

  4. Show where a practice is heading

Draw an arrow from a practice to where the team wants it to get to, change it, and remove it.

  5. Say what is holding a practice back

Add a black bar to a practice that the team wants to improve but cannot, with a short note of what stops it.

  6. Start, change, join or leave an experiment

Record what the team is trying in a stage, add more practices to the same experiment, and take practices out when it ends.
